National Kinesiology Week

November 20 - 26, 2023

Thank you for celebrating Kinesiologists this week with us!

The CKA hosts National Kinesiology Week annually to remind Canadians that help is available for those who are struggling to achieve the recommended minimum level of physical activity and to adopt an active lifestyle. National Kinesiology Week is a great opportunity for people to meet with kinesiologists who can take the time to better explain to them how it is possible to increase their level of motivation and achieve their health goals.

Various activities are offered across the country during National Kinesiology Week to promote the importance for Canadians to get help for an active lifestyle.

The 2023 theme for National Kinesiology Week extended the theme of the Kin Can Conference; Exploring Inclusive Kinesiology: Breaking Barriers for All.

This year, Provincial Kinesiology Associations took the lead on National Kinesiology Week:

British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists

Alberta Kinesiology Association

Kinesiology Association of Saskatchewan

Manitoba Kinesiology Association

Ontario Kinesiology Association

The  Fédération des kinesiologues du Québec is profiling eight kinesiologists and the unique work they do.

New Brunswick Kinesiology Association

Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia

Newfoundland and Labrador Kinesiology Association

Kinesiology PEI will be hosting a joint PD Day with their AGM November 18

Save the date!
